Communication skills in the US are at an all time low. For example:
“Thanks for calling tech support, my name is goose, can I have your full email address please?”
“matchbox twenty at domain dot com”
“And is twenty spelled out?”
“Yes, all lower case.”
I did not find an email address [email protected] in our database. I did find the customer’s account with the email address [email protected]. Sometimes I weep for the future of this country. Sometimes I want to jab my eye out with a spoon. Sometimes I want to just kill everyone.
